Vinoy Renaissance Wedding | Alexa + Michael

We are so happy to share Alexa and Michael's wedding! Held in St. Petersburg, Florida, on one of the most beautiful days (I'm pretty sure most days are this beautiful in the Tampa / St. Pete area), this wedding was a collage of perfection! One of my favorite features of the wedding was the consistent theme of pastel colors throughout. From the pink facade of the hotel itself to the flowers, bridesmaids dresses, and many well choreographed details of the reception decor, Alexa's vision of a perfect day truly came to life. And what makes a wedding perfect in my book is when all of the stars align to bring not only a vision of beautiful details, stunning venues, and amazing weather together; but a bride and groom as extraordinary as these two.

From our very first telephone meeting with Alexa and Michael, there was a connection that let me know we would work so well together. The relationships we make in this business are sometimes lifelong, and I honestly believe we will be photographing little Oats babies someday in the future!

Alexa and Michael were chauferred to the ceremony and reception in this gorgeous vintage 1959 Rolls Royce, in the perfect shade of pastel to match the colors of the day.

The Vinoy has some of the most amazing features, including lots of glass sculptures by Chihuly. This ballroom chandelier is one of their most prized collection pieces.
