Satilla and Brock’s island wedding was an intimate event held at the Villa de Suenos mansion on St. Simon’s Island, Georgia. This estate is located on the island’s East Beach and overlooks Gould’s Inlet. It features Spanish style architecture with lots of great nooks for some amazing bridal portraits. One of our favorite details of the house is its underground wine cellar which has stone walls and floors and a beautiful arched wood ceiling….so very romantic!
With the wedding party dressed in neutral tones and the floral decor in all white, the theme was certainly “simple elegance”. The couple said their vows on the ocean-front lawn with their closest friends and family in attendance. Following the ceremony, the guests were treated to a buffet dinner of southern cuisine. After dancing and celebrating well into the evening, Satilla and Brock made an exit through a cloud of bubbles created by the guests.
